Vision Event Photography

Being a Sponsor Photographer for MPI has it’s benefits!!! Earlier this year, Vision Event Photography was approached by the sponsorship division of MPI BC Chapter to be the new sponsor photographer. I gladly accepted along with a friend of mine, Jon Benjamin. Together we have covered ALL of the MPI BC events for 2010.

This event that we both covered was the annual MPI Summer Gala. Hosted by the famous Brock House in Point Grey, the evening had a slew of MPI BC members and sponsors all mingling, catching up and making new contacts.

Thanks MPI for having me on board…and for feeding me. The salmon was awesome!

Photography Tip:
-I recommend donating about 6 hours a month to charitable organizations or associations in you target market that need a photographer. Apply at least 2 months before the end of the year. If selected, you’ll be required to cover events, do board member portraits and other assorted tasks.
-All of this equals exposure, networking and trust. You can’t buy this type of marketing. It needs to be earned.
